We are over at Kirkus today for our regular column! It’s Thea’s turn, with a review of Sarah Beth Durst’s newest fantasy novel, The Deepest Blue.
A spinoff novel set in the world of Renthia–in which elemental spirits try to kill all humans and are held only in check by a single queen–The Deepest Blue follows brand new characters, and impossibly high stakes. Head over to Kirkus to get the full story.

April 17, 2019 at 7:14 amI like the cover very much! at first It reminded me of Lovecraft and his Cthulhu mythos but according to the Kirkus review it seems like it’s not the case, still wonderful book cover 🙂

April 21, 2019 at 11:19 am@Immanuel Redwright there ARE a couple of Cthulhu/Lovecraftian style monsters (there are a few leviathans in the Deepest Blue) so you should definitely check it out 🙂
@Raney Simmon it is a wonderful read! I hope you get the chance to try it.
