We are over at Kirkus today for our regular column! It’s Thea’s turn, with a review of City of Bastards by Andrew Shvarts.
The sequel to last year’s fantastic Royal Bastards, City of Bastards follows a group of illegitimate children after they have stopped the nefarious plotting of their parents. Taking refuge in the Empire’s Capitol, Lightspire, Tilla and her friends grapple with their new lives and identities–as the hated offspring of traitors. Go over to Kirkus to get the full review. (Spoiler alert: Thea loved the book even more than the first one.)
