It’s Monday, which means we are over at Kirkus! (Well, you know, usually we’re over there on Fridays, but still.) Today it’s Thea’s turn, and she turns to Halloween themed reading with her review of The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Volume 1 by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, with art by Robert Hack.
Collecting issues 1-6 of the new series from the Archie Horror imprint of Archie Comics, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is as timely (Sabrina the Teenage Witch the TV show just turned 20, and it’s almost Halloween, aka Sabrina’s birthday) as it is frightening. This is a dark take on Sabrina’s sixteenth-year and her family history. And I loved every moment of it. Check out the full review over at Kirkus now.
