This Week on The Book Smugglers:
On Monday, we start off the week with a teaser and a review! As you know, we are gearing up for the publication of our very first Quarterly Alamanac–an anthology of original fiction, select reprints, and incisive nonfiction. To give you an early sampling of the things to come when the Almanac releases later this month, we welcome Charles Payseur, author of the forthcoming short story Medium to talk a little about the inspiration & influences behind his story. Plus, later in the day, Ana kicks off the week with her review of Jolly Foul Play by Robin Stevens.
Tuesday, we are delighted to host the cover reveal for our second short story in our Superhero Season: Kid Dark Against The Machine by Tansy Rayner Roberts. (WE LOVE IT SO MUCH, PRECIOUS.)
On Wednesday, we welcome Siobhan Vivian (The Last Boy and Girl in the World) and Morgan Matson (The Unexpected Everything) over for our latest installment of SFF In Conversation. Plus, Thea’s long overdue review of Hex by Thomas Olde Heuvelt.
Thursday, we are delighted to have Rhonda Mason, author of last year’s fabulous The Empress Game over for a Q&A and cover reveal for The Cloak of War (book 2 in the series).
And on Friday, Thea is back over at Kirkus with her review of Wayward (Vol 3) by Jim Zub with art by Steven Cummings.
It’s a busy week! Until tomorrow, we remain…
