In which Book Smugglers Publishing announces a new shiny story coming in October.
PROUDLY PRESENTS
THE BRIDEGROOM by Amelia Mangan
Book Smugglers Publishing is delighted to announce that we have acquired a new short story for our 2015 line-up: The Bridegroom by Amelia Mangan. Following a strange, eerie main character who is born into a household that has no use for her, The Bridegroom is an atmospheric tale of supernatural horror.
The story was originally submitted in our First Contact call last year and we fell hard for it: the characters, the writing, the weirdness of the tale and the increasing sense of impending doom. Because The Bridegroom is a Horror story at its heart – even though it fits the First Contact theme really well – we both felt that it would make a great Halloween story, the very first Halloween Tale we will publish, in what we hope will become an annual event.
The Bridegroom will be published on October 6 in time for our Halloween celebrations.
