It’s Friday, which means we are over at Kirkus! Today, Thea reviews Edgar Award winning novel The Last Policeman by Ben H. Winters.

The Last Policeman The Last Policeman (New)

Guess what, folks? She loved it. (That’s the third book she’s read and reviewed this week dealing with apocalypse-by-asteroid, and the best one of the bunch!) Go HERE to get the full story.

I am curious about this one though asteroids-of-doom books make me a little wary. Still this one seems compelling.

I have The Last Policeman on my shelf to be read. It made the Locus top 10 books for last year in science fiction. I really want to read it, and soon! your review as well as a few others have really enjoyed it. Apparently some humour in this as well, so I am hoping it will live up to it all now. I think you are right, it’s a fascinating look at the moment when society breaks down, who keeps to society’s rules? and should anyone? Love your post of this!
