Seven Days for Sevenwaters:

Seven Days for Sevenwaters is a week-long blog event dedicated to Juliet Marillier’s Sevenwaters series – one of our favourites. The event is hosted by the lovely Holly over at The Book Harbinger and will run from September 10 to September 16 with loads of guest posts including one from Marillier herself! Our very own Thea will be a guest with a post on Heir to Sevenwaters. Make sure to check it out!

Moth Tales:

I have a most excellent piece of news to share! My good friend Karen Mahoney – author of The Iron Witch series as well as the upcoming Falling To Ash – will be posting her very own webcomic: Moth Tales!

From the pages of FALLING TO ASH, a novel written by Karen Mahoney and published by Random House Children’s Books, comes a webcomic focusing on the adventures of Boston-based teen vampire, Moth.

The webcomic will update every Monday and Friday, from September 17th and I am just so excited for this!

This week on The Book Smugglers:

On Monday, we welcome Sarah Rees Brennan back to the blog to talk about Inspirations & Influences and her new book Unspoken, followed by Ana’s review of the book.

On Tuesday, Ana reviews the new MG novel by Sharon Creech, The Great Unexpected

Wednesday sees Thea reviewing a highly anticipated read of 2012: Breed by Chase Novak.

On Thursday, Thea reviews The White Forest by Adam McOmber and we post an exclusive interview with its author.

Finally, on Friday, we post our joint review of Stormdancer by Jay Kristoff. And over at Kirkus, we review The Man From Primrose Lane by James Renner

And that’s all for now. Have a great week and as usual, we remain…
