Forbidden Planet Signing & Giveaway
Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday!
The Signing:
As we’ve mentioned before, Amanda Hocking (the twenty-something self-publishing phenomenon that has been since picked up by St. Martin’s in the US and Tor in the UK) will be signing copies of Switched at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore next Saturday (January 25) from 1 – 2pm. PLUS, courtesy of Forbidden Planet, anyone that attends the event and mentions The Book Smugglers will receive a free poster (while supplies last).
While the event is great for everyone local to the London area (including Ana), we also want to make sure international readers get in on the action, too! Hence, THE GIVEAWAY!
The Book:
When Wendy Everly was six-years-old, her mother was convinced she was a monster and tried to kill her. It isn’t until eleven years later that Wendy finds out her mother might’ve been telling the truth. With the help of Finn Holmes, Wendy finds herself in a world she never knew existed – and it’s one she’s not sure if she wants to be a part of.

About Us
We are two completely obsessed, sad, sick addicts when it comes to books. Faced with threats and cynicisms from our significant others and because of the massive amounts of time and money we spend at Amazon.com, we resorted to getting books delivered to our offices and then smuggling them into our homes (in huge handbags) to avoid detection. Here we found a perfect outlet for our obsession! Reviews, recommendations, and other ponderings are our specialty.Sponsors

Wow! I can’t wait to read this. It looks like a fun read!
The book seems promising… I really want to read this! It has been a long time since I read a book that really, really captivated me.
sounds really interesting…enter me please?
Ooooh looks like a book I want to curl up with in a comfy chair and my ipod
This trailer is interestingly elusive. I hope its a changeling story. There is something creepily attractive about stories about changelings and it might be a great book to get young romance readers to try out a new genre. Fantasy, horror, the possibilities are endless! I’m gonna have to look up more information on this book!
I went to the bookshop for uni coursework books this week, and noticed it on the shelf. I didn’t realise it was available in the UK yet, I think I might have to read it soon – it sounds very interesting!
Thanks for having the giveaway.
