Giveaway: Wings & Spells by Aprilynne Pike
Laurel was mesmerized, staring at the pale things. They were terrifyingly beautiful—too beautiful for words.Laurel turned to the mirror again, her eyes on the hovering petals that floated beside her head. They looked almost like wings.
Laurel’s life is the very definition of normal . . . until the morning when she wakes up to discover a flower blooming from her back. As it turns out, nothing in Laurel’s life is what it seems. Now, with the help of an alluring faerie sentry who holds the key to her true past, Laurel must race to save her human family from the centuries-old faerie enemies who walk among them.
You can read the first sixty pages of the book online here:
“I can’t just storm in and proclaim my intentions. I can’t ‘steal’ you away. I just have to wait and hope that, someday, you’ll ask,” Tamani said.“And if I don’t?” Laurel said, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Then I guess I’ll be waiting forever.”
Although Laurel has come to accept her true identity as a faerie, she refuses to turn her back on her human life—and especially her boyfriend, David—to return to the faerie world.
But when she is summoned to Avalon, Laurel’s feelings for the charismatic faerie sentry Tamani are undeniable. She is forced to make a choice—a choice that could break her heart.
And, you can read the first sixty pages of Spells online here:

About Us
We are two completely obsessed, sad, sick addicts when it comes to books. Faced with threats and cynicisms from our significant others and because of the massive amounts of time and money we spend at Amazon.com, we resorted to getting books delivered to our offices and then smuggling them into our homes (in huge handbags) to avoid detection. Here we found a perfect outlet for our obsession! Reviews, recommendations, and other ponderings are our specialty.Sponsors

Team tamani all the way. Laurel has to make herself enjoy the moments with David.
My fav fairy of all time is still Tinkerbelle…can’t help but love her…
I love Jenks from Kim Harrison’s series. I haven’t read WIngs or Spells yet, but I’ve heard great things!

Team David. Cant wait to read Spells and find out what happens next.
I’ve read Wings but not Spells and as of right now I’m Team Tamani though my favourite faerie overall is not quite a faerie so much as he is a air spirit but I’d like to consider them one and the same for this
It’d be Ariel from Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev!
Team Tamani, although not without reservations! Looking forward to Spells.
I haven’t read any books by this author yet, but I’d certainly like to. My favorite fairy is Tinkerbelle.
Team David! He is so sweet!
I am team Tamani! Loved Wings.
Team Tamani.
My favorite faerie is Adam Black even though he’s more like an ex-faerie.
Sad to say I don’t have a favorite fairy. One just hasn’t stuck yet.
No favorite fairy, but my favorite pixy is definitely Jenks!!

Team Tamani for sure he is always there waiting for her and the descriptions of him and his love for her are so cute. I wish she had chose him. They would have been pefect together and Tamani is exciting and sweet and attractive.
I am soooo team David! I mean I haven’t read Spells so I don’t know what will happen but in Wings Tamani seemed just really creepy…
