About the Book

A teenage girl calls her beloved older brother back from the grave with disastrous consequences.

Dashiell Bohnacker was hell on his family while he was alive. But it’s even worse now that he’s dead….

After her troubled older brother, Dashiell, dies of an overdose, sixteen-year-old Ruby is overcome by grief and longing. What she doesn’t know is that Dashiell’s ghost is using her nightly dreams of him as a way to possess her body and to persuade her twin brother, Everett, to submit to possession as well.

Dashiell tells Everett that he’s returned from the Land of the Dead to tie up loose ends, but he’s actually on the run from forces crueler and more powerful than anything the Bohnacker twins have ever imagined…

Not sure if it’s more sci fi or fantasy, but I love the His Dark Materials trilogy. I’m so glad Philip Pullman is going to be revisiting that world.

My favorite YA science fiction title is definitely Zenith by Sasha Alsberg and Lindsey Cummings. That book was the bomb, and I desperately need Part 2!

“What is your favorite YA science fiction title?” The thing with the pouty girl and the vampire–just can’t get enough of it!

My recent favorite sci-fiction title is (not really sure if this qualifies but) Wolf by Wolf by Ryan Graudin. A for sure favorite science fiction title is The Fog Diver by Joel Ross. I love science fiction books but can’t think of many on top of my head!

I really like A Closed and Common Orbit (not sure if it counts as YA but it is great, either way).

Laini Taylor’s work has been among my favorite in the YA genre as of late.
