*Waves* Thanks for including the Poison Throne here!I hope you like it.

@ N.R.Alexander: I'm sorry, but I'm really not Caitlin R. Kiernan. I'm just me, Celine Kiernan (my real name. I promise):D

@Kmont, there's actually quite a few Poison Throne covers floating around Amazon, some are from other territories (Aus, Ireland, Spain, Germany(X2)) and some are because Orbit went through three or four different designs before settling on the beautiful one they have now, somehow all the various Orbit incarnations made their way online!

Man, you guys just had to remind me of fantasy books didn't you? Last year I discovered paranormal romance and so have been reading it and urban fantasy non-stop to catch up on all the cool books, but I love traditional fantasy too. I've heard Jo Graham is really good. I thought I had read Elizabeth Moon but I looked and I don't think I have. Another author to try! 8)

*drags drool bucket out*

So many pretties I want to read, but The Last Stormlord, Lord of the Changing Winds, Oath of Fealty and The Poison Throne all caught my eye :)

A new Paksenarrion novel? Really?!?!

This isn't a new series? There are earlier ones? I'm on a real fantasy kick ATM!

I saw The Poison Throne a couple of weeks ago with this cover. Wonder if that's the Australia version.

http://www.amazon.com/Poison-Throne-Moorehawke-Trilogy/dp/0316077062/ref=tmm_pap_title_0

I'm also looking forward to The Last Stormlord. Seems like a good premise.

Duran's cover is puuuuurty. :)

“it is unflinchingly, over the top, with-no-shame-whatsoever the happiest book in the world. Ain’t nothing but blue skies.”
Wow, my kind of book. Must check it out!

Know nothing about the griffin book, but have been lusting after it ever since I saw the cover. What is it about griffins and gargoyles? Or is that just me?

I was so delighted when I saw Meredith's new book--finally, she gets a pretty cover free of...certain male body parts! So many of the fantasies you have here look terrific. Thanks for putting them on my radar!

Sherry Thomas' May release, His at Night, also has me dancing with anticipation. Scarlet Pimpernel in Sherry prose!

I loved The Changeover when I read it in 1984. I still have my original copy. Margaret Mahy is great. She wrote another excellent YA called the Tricksters. I recommend that one as well.

Hurrah for Meredith's next book. I love her like those packages of Hershey's miniatures I can eat all in one sitting.
