Since fifth grade, when I read all the books for the first time, it's been the world that I turn to for comfort and sheer catharsis. There's a grand beauty about it; terrifying and exhilarating and splendid all at once. I hope you soon take on The Two Towers (my favorite) and Return of the King. Lord of the Rings is an incredible story, and seeing someone read them for the first time reminds me once again of their magic--for the new readers and the old, devoted ones.
