I read and reviewed “Dark Stranger” by Sizemore. Ana, you will love it. At least I think you will.

As far as “Tome of the Undergates” goes I will buy that one from Amazon. I will get a job and once every month I will buy too books and THAT one will be on my cue.

*cha ching* the sound of my local bookstore prepping for a lusty spree after hearing about Except the Queen and Jane Yolen. I’ve never read anything by her before, but will do my research and rectify that immediately.

I am super duper looking forward to The 2nd in Nalini Singh’s new Guild Hunter series Archangel’s Kiss and also Sherry Thomas’ His At Night.

Ha! Awesome! I love your site and to see my book listed kind of made me do a happy jig. I actually just bought and read the new Juliet Marillier based on the Smuggler review. /suckup

As for the covers, well, I do love them! It’s funny because in my head, the books are light UF like Katie Macalister’s Aisling Grey series. My conversation with my editor about cover art went like this:

Me: I want a butt shot of a girl!
Editor: Marketing says you’re getting a half-naked man.
Me: Um…okay! Can he have a tattoo?

Obviously I fought hard on this one, eh? Seriously, marketing picked it – that being said, I really think it’s very sexy and well done for mantitty, so I am super happy.

Very excited about Except the Queen. I haven’t read any Jane Yolen in ages, but she and Midori Snyder are both terrific writers, so the book should be terrific!

I’ve read and reviewed Ghost Ocean, and while it’s well-written, original with lots of detail, if you’re a stickler for knowing what the EFF is going on (particularly during the novel’s climax) then this book is either going to be me a m’eh or a tear-your-hair-out frustrating read.

I’m really interested in the Princess and the Snowbirds, though – looks like a fairytale retelling!
