Nice review. I like the premise. The cover would have put me off, thinking it looks a bit like, well I don’t know, but maybe some sort of steampunk vampire melodrama. Your review made me very interested.

That is one fabulous cover. I did like the booktrailer, but like you there were moments that I didn’t like so much. I’ll have to remember to pick up a copy of this book on my next trip to the bookstore

Between your review and the book trailer (which always suck, I reckon) I htink this could actually make a better movie.

I still might put it on my wishlist, though!

At :45 into the trailer, I couldn’t help but laugh when she says, “You mean…I’m not really Victorian?” Snorting and everything. What comes after is kinda compelling though. What is all has to do with the book is a mystery however. Until….

The guy acting like he’s slicing a neck – le cheesy.

I’m torn, the book sounds good and at same time I’m not sure if I’ll make the effort.
