This book sounds great! I’ve had it on my wishlist since just the synopsis was available because it sounded so interesting. I love the cover too! Great that their will be 2 more, their covers are just as gorgeous.

Couldn’t agree more about Tybalt! First thing I did when I finished the book was get on Twitter and say I hoped there would be more of him in the next books (Seanan McGuire replied and said there would be, which I figured, but the solid confirmation made me very happy!).

When I finished this one, I was very eager for the next book. It was a very good debut.

Love the “character trumps plot” advice. Rosemary and Rue is going to end up on a lot of years best lists I am sure.

Britt – That’s bizarre! Just the other day, Ana was telling me about how she’d just read two books about albino heroines in a week…I have no idea. Must be something in the air. Hope you’re able to give R&R a chance, though it isn’t your usual fare!

Angie – LOL. Ana cracks me up! Yes, definitely give this a read. It’s right up your alley. Strong heroine, fae magic and danger, not mushy or silly sentimental in any way I think you and Toby would be a perfect fit! With Tybalt too of course. Roawr.

Whew – made it back! I read part of this early this morning but had to jump in the bat mobile to scoot on to work.

I’m so glad you both enjoyed this one! Reading through your joint review made me want to read the book all over again. I’m completely psyched for the next one. Also, I couldn’t agree more on Tybalt, Ana. I’ll add my vote to your shipping of him and Toby.
