As promised, we have a SuperFantasticGiveaway of Catching Fire. Thea liked The Hunger Games (book 1) and absolutely loved Catching Fire, so we highly recommend you get in on this fabulous trilogy by Suzanne Collins. The Summary:

Against all odds, Katniss Everdeen has won the annual Hunger Games. She and fellow district tribute Peeta Mellark are miraculously still alive. Katniss should be relieved, happy even. After all, she has returned to her family and her longtime friend, Gale. Yet nothing is the way Katniss wishes it to be. Gale holds her at an icy distance. Peeta has turned his back on her completely. And there are whispers of a rebellion against the Capitol — a rebellion that Katniss and Peeta may have helped create.

Much to her shock, Katniss has fueled an unrest she’s afraid she cannot stop. And what scares her more is that she’s not entirely convinced she should try. As time draws near for Katniss and Peeta to visit the districts on the Capitol’s cruel Victory Tour, the stakes are higher than ever. If they can’t prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that they are lost in their love for each other, the consequences will be horrifying.

Thea James is one half of the maniacal duo behind The Book Smugglers. She is Filipina-American, but grew up in Hawaii, Indonesia, and Japan.     I can’t wait to read this book. This is on my short list of books that I’m so excited about they’re making me nauseated. 😉

    I’m on Team Peeta and I remember I used to have a fully developed reason as to why, but now I can’t remember. I think I may have to reread the Hunger Games before reading Catching Fire to see if I still feel the same way.

Yes I love Gale too, but Peet and Kat went through the ultimate trauma together and he was willing to give his own life in order to save hers.     Let’s just say I was hungry for the games to begin in the Hunger Games. And now my friends and I are catching on fire for the next installment (Cliche, right?)!
    I just have to say that we can’t really compare the two, Peeta and Gale, because Gale’s character hasn’t as much face time as Peetas'( As others have pointed out). But from where I stand right now it’s TEAM Peeta! Good luck to Gale and let the best man win.

    hunger games is a book to rival twilight..honestly no one in the world could read that book and not like it. I wasn’t even planning on reading it until my friend told me to.     I bought Catching Fire the day it came out, and stayed up until 1:30 that night finishing it. I am STILL in agony over Peeta vs. Gale, and can’t believe it will probably be NEXT September before all of the suspense concludes!

    Hi, what an awesome prize package! I read Catching Fire in one sitting (though my plan was to only read one chapter for the night) and can’t wait for the next book. I even passed the Hunger Games along to friends and they love the stories too. For this series, I’m team Switzerland. I really love the character Cinna and the dress he designed!     Okay, i just finished Catching Fire yesterday and it is probably one of the best books i will ever read in my life. Everything that never crossed my mind happened in this book. I am going to read it again today! I ABSOLUTELY love it! 😀 I highly recomend reading it.

    Oh, I would love to be entered. My son was just telling me about Hunger Games and how he would really like to read it…this is quite amazing because he is not a reader.

    I am not sure which team because I have not read Hunger Games yet, but it is on my must buy list…when the kid asks specifically for a book you just have to buy it.
