LOVED this book. but i must agree at times it was quite confuzing, making it difficult to sum it up in a few sentences in my book report.

Interesting concept, but I think I’ll have to pass. I’ve never read anything by Showalter, though. I may have to check out her “adult” books.

Sounds like I could possibly like it. I wasn’t sure when I read the description at first, but after reading your review I’m thinking, I should at least give it a try. I’ve never read anything by Showalter so I have no previous reference on her work!

Thanks for the review–this one sounds great! I love books that have a lot going on and all the people and actions get all intertwined and complicated. It keeps those gears in the old noggin churning, you know?

Harlequin teen are releasing some surprisingly unusual books under this new imprint. I want to read this one and the one about the girl who screams when someone’s about to die. I was expecting an updated Sweet Dreams-with-vampires collection of books but this is something else!
