I picked up this book because of the Jim Butcher story. I’ve read all of the Dresden Files and can’t get enough of them…more Dresden please! I enjoyed this story as well…

Thanks for the two teasers for this collection. All of the authors are UF heavy hitters and I am really looking forward to this. Good to hear it doesn’t disappoint.

I will buy anything Patricia Briggs writes. . . so I’m glad to hear that even in this novella her shortened length does justice to her characters. I will be buying this one too. Man July is cracking up to be an expensive month; Linda Howard’s Burn, Strange Brew anthology, Nalini Singh’s newest, Vicki Pettersson’s newest… LOL and the list just keeps getting longer.

KB – I kinda like the cover for the anthology too! Not too shabby. Hunting Ground cannot come soon enough!

Janicu – I only wrote reviews for the two novellas that I wanted to read The Butcher entry, “Last Call,” is pretty good though – I’m not the best judge since I’ve only read the first book and another short story. The rest of the anthology has entries from Caitlin Kitteredge, PN Elrod and Charlaine Harris (set in the Sookie world, with a different vampire), if you’re interested!

Mary K – This is totally my problem too! I always end up buying anthologies because of one or two stories that I really want to read…although I’ve had to stop doing that (recession and all!). The one exception is Patty Briggs – if she has a story out, I MUST have it
