Jessica. This is not the first time, that I hear someone saying the same thing about Your Scandalous Ways, but you know…I did not get that when I read the book. To me, she did come across as a real courtesan. She didn’t have a lover AT THE TIME that the book started but she was looking for one.

Man, the title really says it all, doesn’t it? Waaaah, my TBR pile is too big already!

What an interesting story, though. The “experienced virgin” character who was raised in a harem isn’t entirely new – I encountered a similar one in Neal Stephenson’s “Quicksilver”.

I admit, when I read where she’d been kidnapped off to I wondered instantly about her virginity. I was fully expecting her to be that True Fallen Woman, too. Still, this book sounds so very good and I am in love with the sound of this heroine. I’m getting it woohooo!

I also still have Lord of Scoundrels in the TBR, waiting. *ducks*
