I know exactly how you felt during the Desmond and Penny bit. I was also almost shouting at the TV - NOOOOOooooo - he CAN'T kill Penny or Desmond! There just HAS to be someone who got away from this crazy island and is happy! And after all the longing Desmond and Penny have had for each other through the years, it just HAS to be them. And Ben just HAS to be one of the most complicated, 'is he bad or is he good' characters I've ever seen. Just when you think he's evil to the core something happens to make you wonder.
