I would recommend you to start with the first book in Malloren series My Lady Notorious, one of my all-time favourites or with the first in the Secrets series: A Lady’s Secret.

For some reason I have completely wandered past this series, although it does ring a bell. I will hunt down My Lady Notorious. Rothgar sounds interesting….

I read, IIRC, ‘Winterfire’ and ‘To Rescue a Rogue’. I can’t even remember the plot or characters of the first, and the premise of the second was interesting (addiction) but I got to the end and said ‘That’s it?’ It was disappointing because I’d developed such admiration for the author’s posts and very likable online persona at ‘Word Wenches’.

I am happy to be corrected if there are other amazing titles of hers to read (which I’m assuming there are since she is so popular).

Ana, I did read the first one. I have almost all her books except 2 of the first regencies. Still working through the earlier CoR books, in fact reading An Arranged Marriage right now. I had been waiting to get them all to read in order, but did read the last three anyway. Catching up with the rest now that I’ve routed them out of all my boxes.

My Lady Notorious is a favorite and I loved Dare (To Rescue a Rogue), and her medievals, Lord of My Heart and Lord of Midnight.

Wow what a great story line! I love road romance and mistaken identity/farce plot lines! And thank God her name didn’t stay as Dorgas Froggatt, I don’t think I could have read 400 pages of that.

Maya – definitely My Lady Notorious. Which ones did you read? I never read any of her Rogue series.
