Wow Thea! This is two 9 Near Perfect reviews in a row (um… I read your blog today in reverse chronological order. I just came from reading your review of Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews. ). I can’t help but be compelled to read this now. However, I do have a TBR stash to last me to the next decade, so I will wait for the mass market paperback in November.

Caffey – [i]Mrs. Quent[/i] is a true delight. It’s set in a world very similar to victorian England, but it is technically a different island nation called Altania. Thanks for the heads up on the link, fixed it now! Hopefully it should work I hope you get a chance to read this wonderful novel!

Orannia – noooo! Don’t risk the wrath of Ana! You get between her and books, and I’m not responsible for the ensuing carnage. :p Seriously, get thee a copy of this bad boy. It’s awesome. And I totally read while I walk too!! I used to live within walking distance to my office, so every day I’d get in a good couple of chapters on the commute home

KMont – How shall I say this…I hardly ever trust the word of Amazon reviewers, and I get the feeling that a lot of the reviewers for [i]Mrs. Quent[/i] were judging the book unfairly. I didn’t find any significant plotholes with this story, and absolutely loved it (if you couldn’t tell!). Karen – This book certainly didn’t get any coverage online or any advertising push, which is a damn shame – especially since it is fantastic. I highly recommend it! I have a feeling you’ll love this one :p

I’m seeing other reviews *coughhmmAmazonhehcough* say this one is full of plot holes. What say you? You sound pretty happy with it and I’m guessing plot holes would not make for a happy read.

Other than that, it does sound good!
