I am very intrigued about this book. It sounds wonderful. Personally, I have never ventured into the sci-fi world till last week. I am loving every bit of it so far. I love all of the great ideas, and this book review was fun to read. I have to admit that I fell in love with my first sci-fi read, Resonance by AJ Scudiere. The characters were so well developed and distinct that I felt connected to each of them. Each character spoke only from his/her point of view and you never lost track of being with/in that character. It was a really really good read.

Ana, that’s exactly why I love Nalini’s writing, she balances both so well, and it’s all well paced. I’m so excited to read this new, darker series.

An interview with Elena?! Oh how cool is that!

I may just have to download Angel’s Blood at midnight, not sure if I can wait for Amazon to deliver the actual book… I have been literally immersed in reading reviews and peoples absolute love of this book for the past couple weeks. It makes waiting even a day or two more seem unbearable!

me <—- *speechless* What a review! Thank you And & Thea! I am now really, really excited about this book! I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with urban fantasy heroines, but I just love this description of Elena

She’s a layered character with a troubled past, the best at what she does, but she’s not a brash, cocky loudmouth. Furthermore, she’s a rational character that makes refreshingly intelligent decisions. She doesn’t try to go it alone, nor does she rush impulsively into danger (ala Rachel Morgan).

And it sounds wonderful dark (although I’m currently wallowing in the dark since picking up Melusine
