I demand to be given special praise for every converted Gaiman soul in here seeing as I was the one to convert Ana...and yes it all started with a long black leather coat minus the interesting hair! It's nearly impossible to disover this amazing series unless you have at least one friend into the goth movement lol

The guest dares are a very cute idea. Brilliant, I'd even say. I really do need to read some Neil Gaiman one day. I'll probably stick with a novel, though.

Ah, good, another Sandman convert. The first book, although great, is one of the weaker ones in the series, too, so you are in for a real treat! Nice review, Graeme!

Ana and Thea, can't wait to see what you both think of Melusine! I'll have to start Dead Witch Walking soon.

Lisa--Thanks ;) It's the common goal of Ana and I, to turn everyone into a Gaiman convert! Definitely give Watchmen a read when you get the chance (before the movie comes out in March!). It's a fantastic piece of literature.

hagelrat--The Sandman comics totally rule! I plan on shelling out the cash someday for the Absolute Sandman collections (4 ginormous hardcover omnibuses) to replace my trade paperbacks...too bad they're so freaking expensive! I'll have to wait a while for that, methinks.

Keep up with the series, each volume only gets better and better!

edifanob--Excellent choices, both ;) If you had to only read two graphic novels, those are the two to pick! The Watchmen trailers look fantastic, don't they? I'm excited too.

I love these Dares. Looks like you have another Gaiman convert :)

I have the Watchmen but have yet to read it. Shame on me.

Melusine is good, eh?? I might have to check it out.

Karen--oooooh you love Melusine as well? I'm even more excited now! When I saw the Jacquelline Carey blurb on the cover, I was instantly sold :)

Jessica--I love that nanosecond between books :P Although sometimes the indecision of what to read next is a killer. I'd definitely recommend giving Neil Gaiman a read if you're looking for something new! Or Kim Harrison (I adore her books) of course. The VTBR--I like it!

Kmont--Dude, The Watchmen is amazing. AMAZING. The big bad granddaddy of superhero comics. Gaiman's graphic novel version of Neverwhere is awesome too--but The Sandman is Epic. Just read them all and call it a day ;)

AnimeJune--Another Melusine fan? Ok, SERIOUSLY excited now :)

Graeme--Hi stranger! Thanks so much again for undergoing the Dare! Now you just need to catch up with all the Sandman issues :) Both Ana and I are stoked for The Watchmen movie...we're even brewing up a little Superhero Appreciation Week in preparation! ;) I hope the film is as good as its previews.

Thanks for the link! Everyone make sure to stop by and say hi to us over at Graeme's wonderful blog! *shameless plug*
