Smugglers Weekly Stash
Happy Sunday, everyone! After a long and hectic weekend (really, aren’t weekends supposed to be relaxing???), it’s time to gear up for another week.
Around Blogland…
We received the following heads up from Rebecca–Romance Readers in Australia, unite:
ATTENTION ROMANCE READERS OF AUSTRALIA AND BEYOND
In February 2009 the inaugural Australian Romance Readers Convention is being held in Melbourne.
There will be talks by Sherrilyn Kenyon, MaryJanice Davidson, Stephanie Laurens, Susan Donovan, Susan Grant and many many more.
Panels will cover all types of romance fiction from ebooks to series, erotica to the paranormal, the future of romance to where the “big” ideas come from.
Events planned include a reception and a dinner, booksignings and plenty of opportunities to meet with others who like romance just as much as you do.
Registrations for ARRC09 are open now – and until 31 October you can even get a discount. For more info go to www.australianromancereaders.com.au or email us at arrc09@gmail.com.
Lucky Australians.

This Week…
Ana will have two ARC reviews comin’ atcha! She’ll give us her take on Immortal Warrior by Lisa Hendirx, and also the SHOMI title Phenomenal Girl 5 by A.J. Menden. Bonus–we have a giveaway copy of Immortal Warrior, so stay tuned for a chance to win!
We didn’t make it for the Dear Author book club discussion last week of The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. BUT both Thea and Christine from The Happily Ever After have since finished the book, and will be holding our own, belated book discussion here on Tuesday!
And, from Monday to Wednesday it’s Thea’s turn over at The Desert Island! Stop by and show some love to the DIK Ladies.
And that’s all folks! Until next time…

About Us
We are two completely obsessed, sad, sick addicts when it comes to books. Faced with threats and cynicisms from our significant others and because of the massive amounts of time and money we spend at Amazon.com, we resorted to getting books delivered to our offices and then smuggling them into our homes (in huge handbags) to avoid detection. Here we found a perfect outlet for our obsession! Reviews, recommendations, and other ponderings are our specialty.Sponsors
