New Kresley Cole Cover: Kiss of a Demon King
*Tag teams Katiebabs*
Look at the beautiful cover for the next installment of Kresley Cole’s Immortal After Dark series! A big thank you to the great Katie and and to the awesome Meljean Brook for this gift!
So what do we think? I have to say, this is my favorite cover so far. It certainly is a long looooooooooong way from those cartoonish covers – remember a Hunger Like No Other (book 1)?
Kiss of The Demon King by Kresley Cole is to be released February 2009.
Here is the summary:
His obsession: the enchantress who surrenders her body, but not her heart.
After Sabine, the Queen of Illusions, lures and traps Rydstrom Woede in her lair, the ruthless warrior fights to resist her seduction. But his fierce demon nature lusts for her delicate body and won’t be denied. Even as Rydstrom plots to escape, he still intends to claim Sabine as his own—on his terms.
Her downfall: the battle-scarred demon who vows to keep her at all costs.
When Rydstrom breaks free, her abducts Sabine, turning the tables. Now she’s the one struggling to resist his delicious torment. With each relentless encounter, Sabine hungers more for her merciless adversary.
They were never supposed to want each other this much. . . .
If they can defeat the sinister enemy that stands between them, will Sabine make the ultimate sacrifice to save her demon? Or will the proud king lay down his crown and arms to keep his sorceress?
I can not wait!

About Us
We are two completely obsessed, sad, sick addicts when it comes to books. Faced with threats and cynicisms from our significant others and because of the massive amounts of time and money we spend at Amazon.com, we resorted to getting books delivered to our offices and then smuggling them into our homes (in huge handbags) to avoid detection. Here we found a perfect outlet for our obsession! Reviews, recommendations, and other ponderings are our specialty.Sponsors

10 One of the best books I have ever read9 Damn near perfection8 Excellent7 Very good6 Good, recommend with reservations5 Meh, take it or leave it4 Bad, but not without some merit3 Horrible, barely readable2 Complete waste of time1 One of the worst books I have ever read; I want my money (and a few hours of my life) back0 Did not finish

YAY to new cover that doesn’t make me roll my eyes!
Lickable tattoo = Lickable horns??
Hope so KB, hope so!
Confession: I kind of like all of them.
But this one is definitely my favorite
I actually liked the first three. I thought they were kinds camp and the books are a little camp so they made a good match. The last two with the bare chested guys, I really didn’t like at all, but this new one is the best out of the whole bunch. I think it’s eye catching-ly lovely.
“Kinds” should be kinda. :p
gasp. Cannot wait!
I love and miss the covers from the first three novels. They seemed so passionate with the couples embracing with a huge moon hanging in the background. There was just something unique about that them that struck a cord in me. Truthfully I only picked up the 1st book in the series because of the cover. I loved the female model’s long blond hair.
The new one looks like all the other paranormal romance book covers out there now. It’s non-threatening in that people would never guess you were reading a romance based on the cover.
All in all, I wouldn’t say this is a bad cover, it just doesn’t do anything for me.
OMG!!!! I want this book NOW. GAH!!! So many books I want but don’t have!!!
You torturers!!! That’s my new nickname for ya and Thea. I’ll include Katiebabs and Kristiej in here.
Ze new cover, it iz sooo hawt!
I like this cover… it definitely suits Rydstrom.
But I still prefer the style of the first three in the series. I liked that they looked like paintings or manga. It was a unique look, you know?
very much looking forward to this one.
