That’s so funny. Because I bought the book after entering–and not winning– that third party giveaway announced on Angie’s blog, too! Also because of Jia’s review on Dear Author.

I hope everyone else gets a chance to read this book. It was highly entertaining–my heart was pounding on every page for Kat. It very thought provoking, too. And I think it was extra enjoyable because it was YA in the sense that although it was a bit disturbing, it didn’t go too far over the edge that it became depressing. I figured an author doesn’t write a YA novel in a dystopian world without delivering a poignant but hopeful ending, right?

Thanks That Gary Busey movie sounds so familiar…and hilarious. Oh and the widget is up! E-Reader for the win :p

Katie–doooo it. You know you want to It’s a solid book, I definitely recommend it!

Oh, as a side note, I once saw Gary Busey in a movie where men were hunted and killed as game. He was like this Robert Bly type philosopher poet who ran the thing up in Alaska. It was pretty funny, but in bad way.

Alice–Oh you will really like The Hunger Games then! It’s in the spirit of Battle Royale, but minus the gore and more…nightmarish aspects!

I’m gonna be devilish and tempt you–you will definitely enjoy this book. Give it a try!
