lost in austen was aired in my country last year(2 years late but worth waiting for!), i absolutely loved it..i watch the series still on youtube at last once a week (can’t get enough of elliot cowan’s mr darcy!)..guy andrews did a great job with the script, had me laughing in almost every scene..elliot was brilliant with his body language and facial expression, he is one actor to watch out for, and i hope to see more of him in period dramas..i hope itv will do a sequel with the same acting cast. well done!

Very intriguing Quite a few UK shows are screened here (NZ)…eventually (The Tudors for example…roll on Season 3 I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed Lost in Austen reaches here sometime soon!

I’m not in the UK but have caught up online – wasn’t this fun? Episode two in particular was hilarious. I cracked up at Amanda busting out into Downtown, requesting the wet shirt, and loved the details like her cell ringtone from the ’95 mini.

Oh whoa! This is some twist and a bit of a shocking wake up call. Huh. What would happen if this were possible? Although I’d agree it does need the suspension of disbelief. ^_^
The only thing I will probably not agree with you on is the father. Mr. Bennet irritated me like nothing else in the book. All TV/movie adaptions were much more sympathetic.
Ah, you’re just making my addiction to Jane Austen worse! Nooooooooo~~~~
