Thea and I have met a couple of years ago at a Lost message board. Both of us being fans of the show and spoiler whores, we pretty much spent a few hours every day talking online and discussing the show. One day, we exchanged a Private Message and realised that we both loved books. From that moment on, we began to talk more and more about the subject and created a thread at the forum to discuss what we were reading. One day, we decided to create the Book Smugglers and here we are.
The thing is, even though we have met two years ago and have spoken pretty much every single day since then (sometimes we exchange more than a 100 emails per day what with the blog and everything) and I consider her one of my best friends, we have never actually met in the real world because I live in Cambridge and Thea lives in California.
All changed last Friday! We are having such a great time! And we have the photos to prove (beware: you are probably going to notice that we are quite possibly, two of the world’s greatest dorks).

Actually, Lisabea and I are meeting up in Chicago after many months of corresponding and working on a book project, and then we’ll hook up with Shannon. Very exciting.

She has all the pictures in her camera ..but she didn’t bring the cable so that we can download to the computer. She will post the photos when she is back home. There are some pretty good ones there (and with Batman too! LOL).
