So of course I must watch it over and over trying, hoping to find something more (and because the toddler loves it, it's her "bear" movie). I think I came away with an appreciation of the concept if nothing else.<br/><br/>So hopefully the movie garnered good interest in the books again and hopefully I can read it soon! <br/><br/>Other than that, I just had a blast going through a lot of yalls 10-rated book reviews. :D I have the book in the TBR pile, but only after watching the movie, which I found both good and frustratingly lacking. In the theater, I was seriously pissed. Naturally, holding it all in since there were a bunch of little kids there, but pissed nonetheless!

I think the last time I was this incensed was…hmm…That’s a toughie. I mean, there are bits and pieces of movie adaptations/changes that really bother me: Rogue taking the cure in X-3 to be with Bobby REALLY got me in a bad mood; the insertion of Hayden Christenson as the Anakin spirit in the remastered Return of the Jedi dvd!!!!!! GAAAH!

Oh I know two: The Scarlet Letter (there was just a post on this!), and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. GAAH!
