li I can see where you are coming from. I loved the first book, but the second and third fall short.

But yeah–totally still into the series and will get the next book. Especially considering everything that happened in Heroes Adrift!

(And on the covers–I quite like how Lee looks on this one! But yeah, makes it look out to be some kind of pirate ship adventure or something :p )

I actually thought this book was better than the 2nd – but then I really didn’t like the 2nd. I thought Lee was way too whiny and self-centred in that one.

I almost gave up on this series after that, but the cover of this one persuaded me to get it (btw, the cover – huge improvement on previous two, IMO, but completely misleading!).

Agree with you – I liked the change in scenery in this book, and also the fact Lee was more self-aware. It’s a quick read and I will probably get the next one when it does come out – I want to know what happens next now
